SMALL SPACES. FRESH HARVESTS.
SproutWish helps curious beginners explore small-space edible gardening: fresh herbs on windowsills, vegetables in containers, and watering tools that solve everyday growing problems.
Why SproutWish exists
A garden can begin with a sunny window or a few pots. Our aim is to make the first decisions clearer: what fits your space, how much light a plant needs, which container to choose, and how to manage moisture.
Who is behind the site?
SproutWish is founded and managed by Ahmad Durrani. This is an independent gardening publication. We do not claim professional horticultural qualifications or hands-on testing unless an article explicitly documents them.
What we cover
- Indoor Herbs: windowsill gardens and care for culinary herbs, including basil, rosemary and cilantro (coriander).
- Container Vegetables: pots, grow bags, drainage, root space and small-space crop planning.
- Watering & Tools: moisture checks, self-watering containers and practical irrigation choices.
Guidance for your growing conditions
Our content is written in English for readers including the US and UK. Your local climate, frost dates, sunlight and plant variety matter more than a universal calendar. We explain regional differences where they change the advice.
How we work
We aim to support practical guidance with reliable horticultural sources, explain uncertainty and correct mistakes. Product research and hands-on trials are labelled separately. Illustrative or AI-generated images do not serve as evidence of a real growing trial.
